Has had a accident at school and has hurt her right eye quite badly, we have had a traumatic week with it. That is why I have not been on here or posted. She is home again now and the recovery process involving more work on her eye starts now. Makes you realise the important things in life.

June 16, 2009 at 11:21 am #58477GixParticipantAndy told me hun, sounds like she is a real radar trooper, give her our best wishes.
June 16, 2009 at 11:44 pm #58478RadarModeratorThanks Gix. We went back to the specialist last Thursday and it would seem the damage is permenant to her right eye. Vision from her left eye is not affected thank God. She can perceive colour and see points of light only with her right eye. She has to have the stitches removed yet and there will be more visits to the consultants. In herself she is dealing with it very well, but will be off school for a while yet.
