Finally got her to go for it. Had to promise her a scooter to do it though. She wants to learn to drive, but I though a few years on two wheele first might do her good. And who knows she might want to go for a motorbike in the end.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, VODKA in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE!!
January 15, 2006 at 10:57 pm #42237Born2BMildParticipantShe’s already hunting out bike kit. Typical woman. Even got her eye on pink helmet she likes.

She rode a C70 and C90 for 10 years, then she passed her car test, trouble is though she treats the car like a bike and tries to get it through spaces it won’t go and I’m sure once she was looking for the side stand on the car!
Be seen and be Safe!

February 7, 2006 at 11:24 pm #42242Born2BMildParticipantMrs B2B attempted the CBT, but they had to stop her as you couldn’t balance the bike properly. But she’s going to practice and go back when she has more confidence. ‘Tisn’t a bit of wonder really as she has never even ridden a peddle bike before. Just got to work out the best way to ger her over it now.
February 9, 2006 at 5:50 am #42243ScouserParticipantBest get her a cycle first and go for cyclesout together, I would’nt let her anywhere near a scooter if she can’t cycle properly B2B. Keep encouraging her though.
February 9, 2006 at 8:04 pm #42244Born2BMildParticipantThanks for the good advice, mate. I’ll give it a go.
