Motorcyclists offered assessments
More than 10,000 people attended BikeSafe 2005
Bikers are being offered the chance to have their riding skills assessed by police motorcyclists as part of BikeSafe weekend.
Visitors to the free police-organised event at Cheltenham racecourse on 1-2 April, can also pick up safety tips from top professional riders.
The weekend is also a chance for enthusiasts or ‘born-again’ bikers to see the latest models and safety gear.
Last year police say more than 10,000 people attended the rally.
The show includes a climbing wall, inflatable racetrack and motorbike simulator along with police and air ambulance helicopters and other motorbike and safety organisations.
BikeSafe is an initiative run by UK police forces to promote better biking and improve the safety of motorcyclists on the roads.
