2012 world champion Jorge Lorenzo crashes out of his home Grand Prix in spectacular style while trying to lap GB’s James Ellison at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo.

The Spaniard sealed the world title in the last race in Australia, but missed the chance of a home victory when he crashed out on lap 13.

There was some success for the home fans as compatriot Dani Pedrosa took the chequered flag for Honda.
