I think we outlawed them in the 50’s because of the danger to pedestrians being sliced in half. Think that’s because we used to fit them on the front mudguard at 90 degrees to where yours is, about crotch height[^]
Love the website advertising on the fairing, must do that on my Ninja for the summer. Incidentally guys, Sunny owns and runs a large Indian biking website and one of the best forums on the Web, http://www.xbhp.com All members from around the world are warmly welcomed on there, well worth a visit.
PS ID is fine!

It’s nice to see some input from the Indian bikers at last, I’ll take a look at your website as soon as I can.

there is no law against the dark visors. in fact, in most of the cities, helmets are not at all compulsory. Sunny and rajnish are from delhi, where the helmet law is made compulsary – but it seems that girls can get away without wearing helmets ! strange is politics.
where I live (pune), there is no law at all. you can wear helmets – but most dont. I am so used to helmets, that i just don’t feel safe if i go out without wearing a helmet. I guess it depends on how you look at your head – an ornament or something indispensible.
I would not have been writing this if I had not had a helmet.February 16, 2004 at 3:30 pm #17279wheelieParticipantThere’s nothing ornamental about my head as you would see if you met me. I ride protected all the time too, think you’ve got to be mad not to.

Not that I know of. The ZMA225 was developed solely for indian market in association with Honda.
