    Hi. Just wondering what happened to the Laverda motorbikes. Are they still in production?

    There are still some bikes branded as a Laverda, but they don’t link in ownership or engineering terms to the legendary triples of the 1970’s and 80’s. They are Aprillia based.
    The beautiful (if overpriced and under performing) twins of the mid to late 90’s are made any more to the best of my knowledge either.

    Just brought a 1997 750s Laverda which is has various bits stripped of in the garage. Nice bike no longer overpriced but still underpowered. Lots of info can be found at https://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/zanelist/

    as far as I am aware production ceased around 2000.
