May 5, 2005 at 4:11 pm #26577GixParticipantAh welcome GSXR1000, welcome to the bike forum. Are you after lancer from a certain car forum?
LOVE IS GIVING SOMEONE THE ABILITY TO DESTROY YOU, THEN TRUSTING THEM NOT TO.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, Vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, what a ride!
May 5, 2005 at 4:24 pm #26578GixParticipantIf its lancer from a car forum you may well be after our Radar….[]

Changed the R1 for a new GSXR1000 in April. Awesome. I cannot believe how quick it is, yet it is easy to ride slowly, too and is actually comfortable for such a beast.
Given up on C4. Too many bores there.
(PS the new Monaro VXR 6.0 is fantastic!)May 6, 2005 at 8:32 am #26582GixParticipantOh dear…they boring cagers are they? Well we are all a little unhinged here but you know Radar already LOL…..stick around and enjoy![]

Lancer, you can understand how tiring it got being told that I did not have my bikes and cars, by numbskulls like ‘PatriotUK’ and being told that I am you, etc.

More importantly, is that your Trabant too (love ’em!)?May 7, 2005 at 10:38 am #26590GSXR1000ParticipantThe Trabant’s great for just £600, ready to go, with a year’s tax and test !
A very dated 2-cylinder 2-stroke motorcycle engine, possibly the simplest car motor ever in a 4-seater.
No radiator, water, header tank, water pump, no oil/sump, oil pump, oil filter, dipstick, no fuel pump even, for goodness’ sake !
Just 5 moving parts and a gravity-fed fuel tank. An engine servive takes 5 minutes !
2 new plugs and air filter !The GSXR1000 is awesome !
I have ordered a full Akrapovic exhaust system, pretty pricey, but it will give it a great sound and move the power up to about 170 bhp at the rear wheel, when combined with a new air filter and re-map.
6 kgs less weight is handy, too170 bhp and a mere 160 kg. F A S T or W H A T ???
