This is all related to early stuff up to about 1990 after that i suspect things are similar but cant be sure
Early gpz 900 & gpz1000rx heads & barrels are interchangable along with the cams, bigger carbs on the RX if you do this on a 900 with rx parts set the ign timing to rx spec =125+ bhp
engine side cases are common to gpz900 1000rx zx10 & early zzr1100 some also fit the gtr1000 shaftie
any igniter from these models will run the bike if it fits the plugs but the advance curve is slightly different, ignition pickups are common across the range along with coils

Don’t have a 900R but thinking of getting one. I know RX top end fits the 900 but do the barrels ans pistons from a zzr1100C fit the 900R?
What about suspension? If I can make the 10 handle well enough I’ll keep it. The 11C rear wheel fits with mix of spares but what about rear shock. Mine has had it. Previous owner fitted replacement front springs but very soft. Which front end is favourite for a swap, ZZR600? I like it looking standard but want an overall improvement
