This winter I have decided to build the above. [:p]
Using a 1995 Mini Cooper as the base, bought very cheaply recently, I want TTS or someone similar to make me a 250 bhp turbocharged Suzuki 1300 engine which I can get fitted into the Mini.
It has been done before and gave a car weighing around 650kgs.I figure that rear wheel drive, the power of a 3.0 Alfa Romeo V6 and the weight of a Smart Car will provide thrills aplenty ! []

October 22, 2005 at 8:27 am #34325GSXR1000ParticipantThere is another bike-engined car, an MK, near me, it has a tuned 2004 R1 engine and has 176 bhp at 12700 rpm. The only downside is naff-all torque, something like 90 lbs/ft somewhere not far from maximum revs!
