Hope it’s not a silly question but is there a way to tell if your bike is an import?

Have a look on the log book (V5c) – new style ones in section 3. If it was imported it will say “WAS REGISTERED/USED OVERSEAS. DECLARED MANUFACTURE 19??
With the older style log books there should be a note under the previous keepers name and address.
hope this helps

Other ways of telling on the bike:
Km rather than MPH speedo.
Headlight – make sure it dips the correct way for the UK.
Colours and graphics – check you have a colour scheme availble here in the UK.I have a parallel import T Cat and a mate has 97 CBR600 that is an import too. Niether of us have had any problems.
