For me, if you count the ones I have had lying about for spares or whatever, it is about 25-30 or so.
Best? RD350YPVS (the first one of three to pass through my hands)
Worst? KH250

December 20, 2005 at 1:31 pm #39113GSXR1000ParticipantMy 1982 CB250RS did me proud.
Despatched for 60,000 miles and then sold for just £200 less than I paid for it!
December 20, 2005 at 8:09 pm #39114GSF K1ParticipantYep, I cant argue with that.. it wasnt powerful or very pretty, but it would run forever! I think Radar still has his “Delux” model.

December 20, 2005 at 9:21 pm #39115GSXR1000ParticipantI had the original RS250A and then a brand new RS250DC (I think that was the designation).
The later one had electric start and a better chain from what I remember.
Chain wear being a big problem with the early version.December 20, 2005 at 9:22 pm #39116GSXR1000ParticipantPS
BHP-wise I think they were rated at 26, the 250 Superdream being heavier and a mere 27bhp.
December 21, 2005 at 1:20 am #39117RadarModeratorYep still got the CB250RS-D (Electric Start) model. 26bhp. Off the road due to a mangled ignition switch. Hope to get it sorted over Xmas. Had a CB250RS-A (Kick start) years ago, sold it in November 1986 and the lad who bought still has it and uses fairly regularly.
Look in the Forest if you want to find treesDecember 21, 2005 at 7:48 am #39118GSXR1000ParticipantGreat bikes, under-estimated. Sounded good, handled ok and felt better than the Superdream.

CB250N Wet dream, first and only brand new bike.
GSX1100F
XL1000VI can’t believe that some of you have had millions of bikes, don’t you get attached to one and keep it? Are you the same with your cars? I can feel a new topic coming on.
