Honda CBR650F…later day Thundercat?

With the 600cc sports bikes catergory poplated by very focused bikes like the R6 I have found myself wondering if there was a gap for a more versatile, but still quick bike in this class. In the mould of my excellent Yamaha YZF600R Thundercat…

Seems that somebody at Honda has been thinking along these lines too and the CBR650F is the result.

86bhp, 46lb ft of torque…a bit down on my Thundercat, but the bikes general stance reminds me of my beloved YZF. I will be interested to see how it gets on in the market place
