The Mrs will soon need a new lid for some summer touring. Can anyone recomend a lid suitable for specs, its a big moan of hers.

I can wear sunglasses with my Arai Chaser V, but no guarantee that will work in her case.

No idea but I’d be interested too as I often wear sunglasses when riding in summer. I thought most helmets were soft enough inside to support wearing glasses but is that not the case then?

There  should be enough give at the side to put your glasses on after putting you helmet on first, then remove glasses before taking the helmet off.

This would also apply to sunglasses.

My helmet has a drop down internal black visor for those wonderful sunny days :)

Her complaint is that the glasses move with the helmet????? ive never thought that her lid is possibly a bit tight. I was thinking of a helmet that had special groves in the lining or something.

Put a small nick in lining on either side, make sure they are in right place by marking up whilst helmet is on, seal edges of slice if possible with  nail polish (take care not to use too much or it will scratch her once its dried). Put helmet on, slide arms of glasses into the ‘slices’ in the lining and it will help them stay seated.

Whatever the girls want, they also want it to be new.

I wear glasses on the bike, I tend to use AGV lids, never had any really probs just squeezing the glasses in! Hope you get it sorted.
