Another one bites the dust
HEIN Gericke (UK) Ltd has been placed into administration.
The company has a network of 49 stores across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Hein Gericke is named after the man who started it in Germany in the 70s. It grew rapidly from a motorcycle dealership and started to include clothing. Gericke sold his business in 1987 by which time it had many outlets and an international prescence.
The Hein Gericke brand is now sold through retail shops across Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Luxemburg and the UK. Therefore Hein Gericke (UK) Ltd going under doesn’t necessarily mean the parent brand Hein Gericke is in trouble.
The administrators, Moorfields Corporate Recovery, want to sell the business as a going concern.

Not hearing good things about the sale, apparently prices still high and discounts small, 10% off a £500 lid for eample.
Incidentally if you have a loyalty card your points are no longer valid…
