Free to get in and a fair amount going on…
Anybody fancy a group ride down? Take in Warwick and Stratford too maybe?
From the website:
If you are a biker, scooter rider or somebody thinking about taking to two wheels then the Heart of England Bike Show is for you.
4,000 people came to the 2009 show and gave us fantastic feedback. The 2010 show is shaping up to be bigger and better with even more features and exhibitors, including more big name brands. Hope to see you there for:
Spectacular stunt shows in the Sorrymate.com Stunt Arena.
Improve your own riding skills on Bikesafe guided ride outs.
Retail area for clothing, helmets, accessories and protective clothing.
Demonstration rides on top 2010 bikes and a try before you buy scooter zone.
Train to gain – access to a range of free or subsidised training courses.
Slow riding demonstrations.
Programme of talks in the Highways Agency Information Workshop Tent.
Helmet park, food and refreshment.April 15, 2010 at 10:56 pm #60644ChampsParticipantI think I am available. May even bring the wife!

I am planning to bring mine too funnily enough
May 8, 2010 at 8:35 pm #60646katanaParticipantYou two still going?
I’m thinking of heading over.
May 8, 2010 at 10:49 pm #60647RadarModeratorDoesn’t look like it now Kat, it is a decent event though.
May 9, 2010 at 11:31 pm #60648RadarModeratorI did go in the end and met up with Katana and a mate of his, pics tomorrow…
May 10, 2010 at 9:51 pm #60649RadarModeratorWell Katana persuaded me to go after all…here are a few pics from the day
The Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon…impressive venue for a free show
Suzuki Bandit…caught my eye, well turned out bike
Triumph’s old and new
Some good stunt action on the R1 in a relatively tight arena
He should really sit down…
There is an R1 in there somewhere…
Told you! He is sponsor by Pirrelli…
Rare prototype Triumph
An Omega…needs a little light restoration to return to concours…
The plod were about too
The Honda VFR1200…I was merrily slagging this bike off…’how ugly is that exhaust??’ ‘That fairing is DULL!’ when the bloke stood next to me got on the thing…opps!
Honda’s surprisingly effective big cool blue factory custom…it will never be as cool a 1981 Kawasaki LTD550!!
I have a strange hankering to own one of these
The best looking Ducati since the seminal 916? I want one so badly it almost hurts!
A little garish for my taste…but the quality of work was stunning
Katana’s Zephyr 1100 riding friend took a new Yamaha Diversion 600 out for a spin and came back impressed. The Police riders joined the demo riders. That was a slightly odd feeling I bet
Free entry to the car museum was also available. Very interesting stuff if you are into 4 wheels too. Loads of protypes, last of the line models, protoypes, record breakers, concept cars, TV cars and competion vehicles.Well worth a look
James Bond Aston
I am not in too much of a hurry to have a go in this combo…but a fitting way to take one last ride
There were trial bikes stunting in the arena too
Impressive control
Katana’s Blade and his friends ZR1100Thanks to Katana for dragging me out. Good to meet Hugh and Ash too. Great free show!
