Thanks for the welcome, I’ve been around bikes on and off for about 20 years, nothing special all mediocre bikes, (it’s the noise and grin factor for me).
However, this bike was passed on to me by my Dad who said it was too fast for him and although refurbished??? the wiring was badly routed. It’s VERY hard to look cool hopping around with your arse on fire.
I like the bike, it’s a bit of a pig but has potential cheers.

Hi, I’ve had a go but an orange wire spliced to a brown one and ending up black is what I’m faced with. To be honest, behind the headlamp cowl the amount of wires cannot be justified, I’m up for a challenge.

Thanks Radar, i’ve had a look through, my best bet would be the wiring diagram for a GS 850 should be interesting.

December 17, 2008 at 3:51 pm #57194katanaParticipantI’ve found one for sale in the US if you need one?
https://www.andersonvintageparts.comIf nothing else the part number might be handy “36610-49201”
If you want to get one in the UK, I’ve bought Suzuki parts from here in the past and found them to be very knowledgable. Sometimes (but not always) genuine Suzuki parts can be a reasonable price.

Cheers Katana I’ll give robinsons a ring in the morning… looks like they’ve got one that’ll fit the bill.
