GP season starts soon, gonna be a gud un again!
Rossi has moved to Yamaha and he’s took all his Honda crew and manager with him. Honda are not very happy and would not let him sit on his new M1 until 1/1/04. Five top riders on Hondas are being put against him. Can’t wait!
World superbike champion Neil Hodgson and team-mate Ruben Xaus are now on Ducatis with Troy Bayliss and Loris Capperossi. Ducati had a fantastic debut season last year and are the ones to watch. British superbike champion, ‘Shaky’ Burn is on the new Aprillia. Loadsa Brits moving to GP’s but this leaves other championships a bit weak..i.e. World / British superbikes, although some unsuccessful riders from 2003 GP are moving to WSB and BSB, eg McCoy, Haga.New Rules for 2004:-
No one allowed to test new bikes until 24th Jan
Starting grid now has rows of 3 riders not 4 as usual (safety)
No more stop go penalty’s just ride into pits at a governed speed and ride straight back out.I thinks thats it but I’ll let you know if there are more changes.
