Great stuff that Radar, its been many many years since I owned one – thinking back I’ve had 4, and that was between 1971 and 1977. That onbike video sure shows how draughting gives a sling-shot.

    I have owned a RD250LC, a RD250, a KH250B5 and 3 RD350LC YPVS. Would dearly love a RD500LC

Gorgeous vid, had my speakers on loud for that mate. Some good ding dongs and a crash early on too.

As you’ve shown me yours, I’ll show you mine (so to speak), have had a rethink on 2 stokes owned…. for me they spanned 8 years from 1969 to 1977. Before I legally on the road there was a Suzuki 80 and a Sprite Grasshopper(125 Sachs), now then, as its no longer non-cool to discuss scooters, 1st bike legally ridden at 7:30 A.M. on the morning of my 16th birthday was a 175cc Triumph Tigress, which, 10 mins later seized the piston whilst overtaking at 70mph, obviously it hadn’t got that hot before as it had been previously owned by an old fella, well, left for 10 mins to cool off it fired 1st kick and never seized again. Next there was a Lambretta Li 150 that soon had me dragging out a 200 SX engine my Dad had under his bench, I swopped it without telling him, I think it was the 1st time he didn’t shout at me for nicking something of his as he was suprised I’d got it fitted and running without his help. Next was a 1971 Suzuki T250 Hustler/Super Six, then a 1972 Suzuki T500 Titan and the last 2 Stroke I had was a new 1976 RD250 Yamaha. Apart from owning them the only other 2 strokes I’ve ridden was my Dads RD400 Yamaha(which was a cracking bike) also his 750 Suzuki Kettle which handled like a pig, and I had a dabble at Sidecar Trials on a 350 Bultaco. Thats all folks.
