Hi all
new to this site name is neil
I’ve just got hold of an fzr 400 genesis grey import had one 10 yrs ago and this popped up at a good priceApril 17, 2004 at 8:02 pm #18444imperialdataKeymasterHi Neil. Kind of guessed from your nickname that you might have had one of those, but you can never be too sure! What do you think of the bike? I like the FZR’s a lot, they’re capable bikes and seem to be reliable. How does your bike insurance get affected these days by having a grey import?
April 17, 2004 at 9:02 pm #18445fzr400ParticipantHi Imperial.Irate the bike a lot i had one 10 yrs ago and at 21 thought it handled well and had reasonable usable power for a small engine. After a 10 yr absence getting back on it again just confirmed my earlier thought’s…lol still a kid at heart..When i had the first one i paid £570 tptf….now with no no claims and tptf i pay £120..was a bit like the advert on tv “quote me happy”..Grey’s seem to be more accepted in insurance companys these days
Cheers Neil

Carole nash insurance…..was pleasently suprissed as Bennetts quoted me £300April 18, 2004 at 5:14 pm #18448wheelieParticipantHi Neil. Don’t forget you were 10 years younger when you had that quote. You hit 30 and it seems to drop by loads. They think we’re past it and ride steadier than before. Hmmm, I’d like to believe that.
