Full of potassium, always peel them from the blunt end, not the stalk end, its alot easier and if you watch chimps/apes on TV thats the way they do it! Roddy Macdowell loves them.

Whelks are strange to eat? Big, chewy just a big slug of the sea. What other creatures do we eat that you wouldn’t look twice at? Did you know cochcenial red colouring dye is made from the wing case’s of a beetle?

If they pay through the nose, do they have to use ‘greenbacks’? (slang for dollars tha nose)
I prefer powdered Rhino horn in a cup of Ovaltine as an aphrodisiac, works every tiiiimmmmmmmmmee…….zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

For an aphrodisiac,I mostly use beans.They are fed to me by catapult while strapped naked to a vertical spinning wheel.It works rather well and they taste nice too…..
