    My old mate Stu only got a bike a couple of years ago, a brand new Triumph Tiger 800 XC

    Finally got around to having a brief ride with him today, hopefully more to follow

    Stu had a van reverse into is bike the other day. No significant damage and the insurance is sorting it out. Now happily riding around on a SV650 while his XC is repaired

    He was fine, if a little shaken. He pulled up behind the van in a traffic queue. Van decided it needed to reverse….

    This has happened to a couple of people I know over the years.

    It is, I suppose the lesson is there for all of us, don’t pull up too close behind vans and trucks, just in case they have a change mind and decide to reverse. If they can’t see you in their mirrors…
