    Good suggestion TT, The A470 is a cracking strip of tarmac. I might be away weekend 12/13 July. I will check my diary.

    @Sid. The French trip is very tempting. I will check out Ferry prices/times etc

    The date of 13th July, if not agreeable for some, could be changed to say Sunday 3rd August.
