Do you lot come from a family steeped in motorcycle history or like me, are you the only biker in the family, the blacksheep as it were.
My Brother in law has a Yamaha Thunderace, but I think you can tell who influenced him!

]No bike lovers in my family……… when I bought my first bike (CBR600) my dad said he wasn`t surprised cos I`d never been a normal daughter anyway!!! my son hates bikes and is totally embarrased that I ride one, he actually begs me not to ride down certain roads in case his mates see me!!

No bikes in my family. My old man was scared shitless on the back of one once and it put him off for life. He didn’t put up any fight when I announced the acquisition of a bent framed Honda SS50. I sometimes wish he had (ie “Sell that heap of crap and buy a FS1E now!”).
Me, I had my first ride on my dads Matcheless, at the age of 4yrs. And loved it then as I still do now. I also discovered my Grandad used to ride motorcyles. So does my Aunt and uncle. They are currently travelling around New Zealand at the moment on a motorbike. So you could say its in the blood! But I only ride pillion, my husband wont let me be the pilot. We have a 1997 FZX 750. But every opportunity that we get we ride our bike.

My dad used to be in the St Albans motorcross club when he was in his late teens, he has photos of going cross country on side cars, he was the mad nutter hanging off the sidecar with just a bar to grip onto and a plastic bone-dome! I grew up with him and his bikes, I have an embarrasing photo of me on the back of his old Honda CD175, I must have been about 8 years old. then he got a 250 wet dream and followed with a XBR500.
