I don’t know about everyone else but I am very unhappy about F1 moving to Sky. I don’t have Sky Sports and will not pay for it just to watch F1!
BBC will be showing half the races so I guess that’s all I will be watching.July 30, 2011 at 9:10 am #62704TT07ParticipantSame goes for me, there are going to be a lot of unhappy people out there, yes Sky will be showing all in HD, thats no good to me, plus I wonder which of the Sky channels will the races be aired on, because if its not a general channel it will be another hands in the pocket job and possibly a price hike as well.

July 30, 2011 at 2:54 pm #62706ChampsParticipantI haven’t yet heard anyone who is happy about this.
My concern is are we going to see mid race adverts like ITV had.
Crap idea.
Plus, if F1 will be difficult to access (people not on sky etc) surely ratings will drop, similar I believe to motoGP???
A BBC interview mentioned the other day current F1 ratings are at a 10 year high. Wonder how that will change?
July 31, 2011 at 5:05 pm #62707BigBenParticipantim happy about it..so theres one person. canny stand F1 but then again i dont watch TV at all so makes no difference. you know why theyve done it though? cos theres very little u can do in this country and theyre trying to outlaw people enjoying themselves. this is the way everythings going. we will soon not allowed to go out on a night
