What method do you use for removing the mangled twisted remains of flies, from the front of your bike?

I clean the bike with soapy water…..

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vacuum in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, there goes another engine!

warm soapy water works well, but Scouser how do flys get splatted on your bike when you only travel at walking pace,do they land on the bike and you swat them with one of those fly swat things.

    Take it easy out there

    REMOVING?

    er………

Oh, wait – thats cleaning right….

I rely on natural decomposition, when they are dead and dried out they drop off.

    Sometimes……….

I slept with faith and found a corpse in my arms on awakening; I drank and danced all night with doubt and found her a virgin in the morning.

If they are really ‘baked on’ then get some kitchen roll and one of those pump action water sprayers. place the kitchen roll on the affected area and spray it with water until its soaked in and leave it for half an hour or so, occasionally spraying it to keep it wet. Remove the kitchen roll and wipe the affected area with it and wash the bike as normal.

Grab a cat and a bucket of warm soapy water.. if the furr doesnt shift the flies, turn the cat round and scrape them off with the claws!
