I have purchased a german inport 1996 kAWASAKI kle 500, it is however a 33bhp restricted model ( it was imaculate and the right price). Can you offer any advice or direct me in the way of how to de-restrict this model.Someone told me the german models are harder to de restrict.I have info about restricters in the carb inlet, however the dealer said it wasnt worth the cost to them to de restrict it……any ideas
Better late than never. They usually restrict by narrowing the inlet, just like they do here. Wouldn’t be worth doing any more. But check the jets in the carbs as well.
Either they restrict the gas going in, or the gas coming out.
To “ERR” is natural.. to really fowl things up needs a politician!!
