I cause mayhem once, when I decided to spray Silicon lubricant early one morning on the mechanisms of all the chairs in the office to stop them squeaking and creaking (It got on my nerves, you see). Consequently when the guys rolled in a bit later all the chairs collapsed when they sat down. “Mine was ok”, I said innocently looking around.
daft things? me? never![:o)][:0][:o)] oh apart from the incident with the crowscarers (bangers) IN a certain Warwickshire bikers pub….[:0][
]Well, have already posted this elsewhere on the site….
I used to live and work in a small village not far from Stratford upon Avon. Used to hang out with a bunch of guys, some who had bikes, others had cars. We used to be regulars at a pub in Warwick called The Waterman. Some of the older locals and regulars may remember one particular incident which we were responsible for (there were a few incidents mind!).
One evening we had piled into the cars and drove up to The Waterman. Two of the guys, Jason and Rob, worked at the local MSF. Nearing the end of the evening, they informed us that they had swiped some crow scarers (like fireworks) from work. They told us to get the cars turned round, engines running with the doors open ready for a quick get away. The rest of us piled out of the pub and left Rob and Jason to it. Got the cars ready and waited. A few minutes later, the pair of them came hurtling out of the pub. Before they made it to the cars, there was a series of almighty bangs and the pub windows lit up like Blackpool illuminations, shouts and screams and chaos. We didn’t hang around for the aftermath! Apparently, Rob and Jason had set them up and scapered out of the pub, throwing the crow scarer ‘firecrackers’ under the pool table as they left.
Needless to say, we all got barred and I have never been back since!It werent big an it werent clever but god it was funny.[:0][
][:o)]Got drunk once, very drunk, 0n a run ashore in Hollyhead. While making my way back to the boat, I spied a light in the distance and though it would be a good idea and walk over to it… after 200 yards I walked straight over a cliff, hit the rocks at the bottom, bounced of those and into the water. All this while wearing my Naval No 1s (Dress uniform). Somr timr later… I was aware of a couple of guys pulling me out ot the water and finally arrived back at the boat courtesy of the police. Ended up with three days stoppage of leave for that one.
I remember when I was 16 I got my first ever bike, It was a Yamaha DT50. One day I was coming home from work after doing a late shift 3pm til midnight (got home at 1am), followed by an early shift (getting up at 6) starting at 7am finishing at 3. I was so knackered that whilst leaving a slip road, I felt asleep on the bike, crashed into the crash barrier and ended up in hospital with a broken ankle! PMSL [?] [|)] [
]BINGO! I did exactly the same to that as I have done to my SV, I had the seat cut and the suspension lowered! Where there’s a will there’s a poohchick! [:p] [}
