I went out for a bit of wonder on my trusty 600 Thundercat about a month ago and went to a Steam Rally at a place called Stoke Prior on the outskirts of Bromsgrove. Met upwith Andy and his long suffering wife there. She gets dragged to all sorts of car/bike/plane museums and shows. Good to see them both even if they did come in their car today
I love these gatherings, the acrid smell of burning coal and steam, the traction engines hissing and blowing as they build up pressure. They almost seem alive!
Like so many of these events this one also had large displays of classic cars, commercials, military vehicles and of course bikes. So here are a few pictures of the classic bikes that had rocked up on the day
