Just a local ride out with Mrs Radar on the back of my Thundercat. We were joined by Thumper and his Mrs on their GS. Checked out the excellent, canal side ‘Navigation’ pub in Kingswinford first, before heading over to the nearby ex RAF base which now serves local aviation needs for Wolverhampton. Only 50km altogether, but a good ride in great company to an interesting spot…can’t be bad

The bikes outside the Navigation, and no they are not the two wheelie bins…

Making the way to the all important cafe in the control tower

Had a decent cuppa and watched a few light aircraft come and go, and most notably a Police EC135 Eurocopter, the West Midlands Police helicopters are based there

Well worth a a visit if you get a minute

Looks good and you can get surprisingly close to the planes!
