Charity ride attracts 600 bikers
Money will go to people with heart conditions or terminal illnesses
Bikers from across Devon and Cornwall have teamed up to take part in an Easter Sunday charity ride.
More than 600 riders took part in the 25-mile (40km) trip from Lee Mill in Devon to Saltash in Cornwall.
The Plymouth Motorcycle Club event was to raise money for St Luke’s Hospice and the British Heart Foundation.
Some bikers were issued with cautions for improperly-sized number plates. Police said the regulations were clear, but officers had used their discretion.
Insp Richard Pryce said: “Whether it’s for cosmetic reasons or not, number plates have to conform.
“The regulations are there in black and white, so ones which are not displayed correctly or are the wrong size are illegal
