Over the last 2 weeks when I`ve gone into my garage I`ve heard buzzing but saw nothing, then today went in again and the buzzing was louder.Decided to investergate and looked up at the roof and got the shock of me life,a wasp`s nest the size of a football was hangin on the ceiling. So got the hose pipe turned the gun to jet and blasted the bugger to bits. Then the wasps spewed out so got the chain wax and sprayed the mass exudess and stopped them in their tracks, the wax hardend within seconds and all the wasps suffercated….brill job done, now just got to brush all the grubs and bodies up….BTW I wore protective clothing ie:full leathers, gloves and helmet and put a scarf round my neck.

[:0] LOVE IS GIVING SOMEONE THE ABILITY TO DESTROY YOU, THEN TRUSTING THEM NOT TO.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, VODKA in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE!!
July 10, 2005 at 2:29 pm #29238imperialdataKeymasterWhy don’t you put your chain wax in the ‘Product Reviews’ section Digger[] Multi-purpose and cheaper than a pest control callout.

Last time he got stung on the bridge of his nose,I didnt have any antihystamines with me, Daves whole head came up in lumps and bumps. It looked like he’d been attacked by a baseball bat. Hence now I always carry anti-hystamines.

I scooped the nest into a sack with a shovel, blatted it one and then buried it. Sorted! Ferkin hot work though! Neighbours thought I had gone mad wondering around in the 30C hest in full riding gear weilding a spade!

And it’s been weeks since been out on bike, Daves suffering a really bad flare up with Arthritis and is unable to ride bike. We’re both going mad and getting well p****d off, cause we’ve missed some lovely weather. Heard of grumpy old men and women? Well thats us at the mo!
