Essentially a warmed over Porsche:
Cars are once again being manufactured in London, although you probably will never see any of the vehicles on the capital’s roads.
Luxury sports cars are now being built at the Park Royal Industrial site in west London before being shipped to wealthy customers in China.
Eterniti head engineer Alastair MacQueen and sales manager Andrew Brown talk about why London’s car manufacturing heritage and image abroad are so important.

November 10, 2012 at 11:15 am #64659imperialdataKeymasterTrue but with the company only employing 50 people it’s not going to solve any big employment issues there. They say they manufacture in London because of the prestige image that goes with it. Moving to Blackpool may drop the luxury image, although you could argue that TVR had its factory there and they did OK (for a while at least).
Damn ugly car though the Infiniti in the video, is it using a Cayenne chassis? Their Emerg-E looks better:

You’ve probably read that Coventry-based manufacturer Manganese Bronze (who make the London taxi cabs) is appointing the administrators this week. It would make sense for Infiniti to bang a few luxury versions of these out since they are based in London already.
