Am heading over there in a bit to watch some club racing. Should be a good day out and will try get some pics taken of the day all but with me camera phone
Well I had a fantastic day, it was very cold, wet and windy but that didn’t stop the happy atmosphere from both spectators and racers!
Tomorrow is the main race day but there was still quite a lot going on with various practise sessions and even though tomorrow is the main day there was enough racing to keep the few die-hard spectators from getting fed up with the soaking [
]With club racing there is such variety in not only the different bikes out on track, but also the people taking part. With some teams turning up in giant motorhomes with almost proffessional race vans etc, down to Joe Bloggs arriving in a battered transit or even just a car with trailer and tent!
The only spoiler on the day for me was the rip off food prices at this kind of event, it was worse here at Brands as they seem to charge so much more than the other tracks I’ve been to; Mallory last weekend was much more reasonable!

I was looking the wrong way on this phot, big pile up in Druids
You can just make out a binned MZ and rider at the top of Paddock Hill, put me camera up just a fraction of a second too late to catch the action.

]I also caught up with my mate who raced in the Triumph T3 675 Cup last season and he is gonna be racing a brand new k7 GSX-R 1000 in Superstocks this year. His first race is at Donnington Park on the 22nd. I will try get to it to cheer him on but its a fair old trip and am up there again on the 27th/28th for my track day and gotta get the last bits of me bike sorted before then too!
Well went again today.
