As in previous years the Borders Classic Bike Show is being held at the Lacon Childe School, Cleobury Mortimer (Which is a village between Kidderminster and Ludlow) on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September 10a.m. – 5p.m. both days.
Last years report from Radar:

And Radars previous years report:

This is what our local rag has to say about it:
ONE of the greatest motorcycle racers to emerge from the West Midlands will be guest of honour at this year’s Borders Classic Bike Show, this weekend.Tony Rutter won four World Championships and eight Isle of Man TT races and his son, Michael, is now a leading contender in the British Super Bike series. Tony is bringing one of his Ducati racing bikes of the 1980s along to put on display at the show which is at Lacon Childe School, Cleobury Mortimer between 10am and 5pm tomorrow and Sunday.
The show has attracted entries from as far as Berkshire and will fill two halls of the school with machines from 1920 through to the 70s.
Among them is a 1932 500cc AJS, built in Wolverhampton and raced in the Isle of Man TT and at Brooklands, as well as bring ridden in the International Six Days Trial. It will be renewing competition of a long gone era, competing with a 1933 TT Norton for the title of Best Isle of Man Racer.
The show includes a bike tombola that has attracted support from big names in the motorcycle industry, to help the show raise funds for the Lacon Childe School.
Some of last year’s profits will be ploughed back into the community on Sunday afternoon, when a cheque for £500 will be presented to County Air Ambulance.
This year, the show’s chosen charity is the Kidderminster Prostate Cancer Support Group and a cheque in support of its work will be handed over next September. With so many mature men being classic bike riders, they are considered the obvious group to give a helping hand to.
While mums and dads look around and reminisce about days gone by, the children have their own special corner, with mini quad rides.
On Sunday, there is a bike jumble, offering bike spares and other bargains, while in the show there will be non-stop classic bike videos to watch, while people sample the show’s home-made catering. that is famous throughout the bike world.
Should I be in a position to get over there this weekend I will add to this post with some pics.

Hope it’s a good show

Nipped over to meet Katana Saturday and had a short ride out then ve realised we’d met before would you believe at the Border Classic show 2 years ago of all places! and today I decided to take advantage of the dry weather so headed into Wales for a good blast, excellent day for me as in: dry roads + moist air = extra bhp + lots of fun, my mate Goff (non forum member) on the other hand didnt enjoy all of the day, on a right hander doing about 45 he struck a car that was traveling in the other direction hitting its mirror with his own offside mirror on his VFR400 which shattered into smitherines leaving lots of chips out of the paint on the petrol tank! now that was a close one as the bars are wider than the mirrors on his bike, he realises he could have come off a lot worse and the cost of a mirror is a small price to pay. Phew!
