it would seem the almighty doesnt want me to ride bikes in summer, got a puncture today on the rear, not plugging it, cant afford a new tyre, may aswell just crush the piece of shit!!
July 5, 2009 at 5:21 pm #58813imperialdataKeymasterI’ll give you £50 for the lot. Only joking. £40. No seriously, it’s tough when the money runs out but you’ve already managed to own a superbike which is more than a lot of people. Hang on in there bud.
July 5, 2009 at 6:39 pm #58814BigBenParticipanthahaha ‘spose youre right. and just changing the subject a bit, there are some serious fuelling problems with the shorty exhaust, its drinking like theres no tommorrow so the shorty is going on ebay, i can deffinitly not afford to get a power commander and get it set up so someone else with the money can sort it and enjoy the noise. sounds like a V8 when you get going a bit.
want to see me nailing something?

July 5, 2009 at 10:16 pm #58816BigBenParticipantyeah i found a couple of cheap sets on ebay but theyre still in excess of £50 which i really cant stand to lose tbh. how sad is that…im ging down a route i really dont want to and thats getting the tyre plugged, no other alternative im afraid as at the end of the month im ridng down to chelmsford to see the new missus and im going to cry if i gotta pay £93.50 to go on the train
July 5, 2009 at 10:24 pm #58817RadarModeratorI ran a plugged tyre in 2007 (my hated BT21). I got a pucture in the south of France. Came home fine and did the rest of the summer. Depends when the nail went in
July 6, 2009 at 9:30 am #58818BigBenParticipantalot of people say good things about it, but its just my personal preference to be honest. i like to just replace things ‘cos im unlucky, dont like tempting fate but its tough. i dropped the wheel off at the garage this morning. do i have to alter my speed accordingly?
