Bikers told to beware of thieves
Riders are being urged to make sure their bikes are secure
Bikers are being told to “lock it or lose it” as part of a crackdown on the number of motorbikes being stolen.
The plea by Dorset Police comes after more than 50 motorbikes were stolen from the Poole area during the past three months alone.
Riders are now being urged to take extra measures to secure their bikes, mopeds and scooters.
They include using alarms, electronic safety devices and keeping vehicles in garages wherever possible.
