Well, two hardy forum bikers braved the sunny evening warmth and turned up to their first Thursday bikernite: same as the Wednesday events in that it raised cash for the Midlands Air Ambulance, but smaller crowd and seemed more organised, with logical parking….
And chicken curry & naan instead of meat rolls – very nice too.
I managed to identify Katana from Radar’s tip-off that he was riding a Fireblade….So Kat and I put the world to rights over a pint of Doombar, marvelling at the sheer number of our fellow riders who have apparent waterphobia….
Some lovely British bikes, old and new…..As can be seen from the photos, it was a lovely evening – just as predicted by the BBC weather website…
Lovely ride home marred only by losing an egg sandwich which I’d tucked under the rack in case of the munchies. Thinking of re-tracing my route tomorrow to try and find it….

but after we exchanged the special forum handshake I sussed it was elessimo.
here are a few of my pics
standard Kettle pic – sorry no trikesIt was a great to meet elessimo and talk bikes whilst looking at bikes. I really need to get out to a few more of these.

Radar, I found the egg sarnie on the verge at the Ledbury by-pass on Friday: after removing the gravel it went down a treat!

I’ve heard of people eating stuff they find dead from the side of the road before but I think “egg sarnie road kill” is a first!
