On the way out at 3.30pm there was a mile queue of bikes and cars to get out so when a pack of friendly-looking gents on matt black Harleys made a break for it, Jed and I temporarily joined their gang, overtaking everything right to the entrance of the base: felt so good….

Back to the Forge Hammer for a bit of sustenance

Well, it did involve a bit of queuing but the actual ride-out was excellent. And the thunder of 5000 bikes was worth hearing. Certainly up for it next year….

Haven’t got the bike back on the road this year yet, work is really taking over my evenings and weekends at the mo. Will try to organise a run over though, very keen to visit you guys.
