Looking for info on bike cams for France 2008.
Anyone had 1 got 1 or know about 1 that gives decent recording time, picture quality and build into bike conveinience. bike mount or helmet preferably minute not like the standard bullet cam these are difficult to hide more like a spy cam so you can talk to a policeman with him not knowing you have a cam on.

for the best quality you need a video cam with av in & out, or this if you want something compact , at 30 fps https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JXD-951-2-GB-PMP-Digital-DV-CAMERA-MP3-MP4-4-TFT_W0QQitemZ230173280619QQihZ013QQcategoryZ31388QQcmdZViewItem
January 18, 2008 at 6:28 pm #54535maxParticipantthis is the best one, go for pack 5 550 vtr cam, this is the one i’ve got now.
January 18, 2008 at 6:47 pm #54536maxParticipantthis the quality you get from a 550 vtr bullet cam when you put it on google, recorded from a vid cam on a sd card

January 18, 2008 at 6:51 pm #54537maxParticipantquality will be a lot better if you use the driver which comes with the vid cam.
January 18, 2008 at 7:37 pm #54538RadarModeratorSome good links and tips there Max, it would have been great to have had some video footage from France 2007
January 18, 2008 at 9:53 pm #54539maxParticipantok this was done on a 480 vtr bullet cam recorded from a vid cam on a sd card, like said quality will be a lot better if you use the driver which comes with the vid cam which i lost lol this is 30 fps only, good but can be better.

January 19, 2008 at 6:06 pm #54541prezzoParticipantAbout £400 what do you think the quality will be like ? with the DV-500 and wether the cables are long enough to intergrate the camera permantly into the bike so i only have to remove the recorder thinking of drilling the faring and mounting the buttonhole
January 19, 2008 at 7:26 pm #54542maxParticipantwot bike do you ride?
Button type covert camera, hmmm the quality will be poor, it’s only ment for sevailance.
January 19, 2008 at 7:58 pm #54543maxParticipantthis is the one to buy

January 20, 2008 at 4:29 am #54545prezzoParticipanti dont mind splashing out on a spy cam but the quality has got to be top noch how much do you think a good quality one will cost if i can get hold of one?
January 20, 2008 at 10:38 am #54546maxParticipantspy cam’s are not made for that sort of thing, all i can say is buy one and see wot it’s like.
