In 2003 I passed up a RD500 for £1495 at DK motorcycles.
Now similar bikes regularly fetch £2500!
How much interest would have £1500 earned in a couple of years, not a grand thats for sure.
See, a 135mph 2 stroke 500 is a SENSIBLE buy!
What other bikes do you think could be a similar investment?
You can live more in five minutes on a motorbike going high speed than you can going slow in your whole lifetimeJanuary 18, 2006 at 7:47 am #42318riff-raffParticipantThe best, if you could,ve layed your hands on one a good few years back, would have been a Vincent Black Shadow.
I know of a chap in one of the villages near me who has had his over 40 years and it was last valued at into the 10,s of 1000,s[:0]
A lot of the bigger Brit stuff was worth investing in in the 70,s-80,s but I wouldn,t know how a recent investment would farecaution…….does not play well with others
