It was the day after I got my CBR and despite the shop telling me they needed to drop the front suspension cos my feet didn`t reach the floor I was too keen to get going and said i`d bring it back the following week. Off I went for a run to Betswy. Had a great time, went to Bestsy and on the way out stopped at the last petrol station on the right. Fuelled up and then set off, the petrol station is on a very sharp left hand bend and the exit out is up a ramp with a rain gully ditch thing at the edge. I stopped at the bottom of the ramp and thought shit I can`t see whats coming from the left cos of the bend in the road so`s I gently eased forward nothing coming and went to move off when suddenly a car came flying round the bend. I had to stop suddenly and put my feet down but because of the ramp my feet wouldn`t reach the floor and I dropped the bike! Two blokes in green leathers had been watching this and came running over to help me plus the guy from the petrol station. They got the bike off the floor and checked it over but there wasn`t any damage.
I took the bike to the bike shop to get it lowered but the mechanic had gone off sick, then I just forgot to go back. 2 weekends later some friends were going to Betswy and I thought i`d be ok so went with em. Coming out of betswy I needed petrol and thought right i`ll go to the same petrol station but wont make the same mistake again. The blokes had stopped for something to eat and i said i`d meet them there. Fuelled up again, started panicking and sweating a bit at this point but got back on the bike and bugger me exactly the same thing happened!!!!!!!! the next thing these 2 blokes in green leathers came running over to help. They looked down at me with the bike on top of me and said “you again!!” they started laughing and said once was a mistake but there`s no excuse for it happening twice and walked off! They did come back tho and helped me pick it up but i was so embarrassed. The bloke in the petrol station was laughing his arse off!! I made sure i took it the next day to get lowered and also had some padding taken out of the seat. Just haven`t been able to go back there since……… i break out in a sweat at the thought of it!

WOW!I dont blame you Speedy,still it could have been alot worse,you could have broken one of your nails.LOL…

ha ha ha……..actually I broke 2 of my nails and i`d only had em done the week before and they cost me £18!!
Ok am now suitably embarrassed and I avoid all men in green leathers just in case its those 2 blokes again, mind you one of em must have felt sorry for me cos he did ask for my phone number lol
