March 6, 2006 at 10:25 pm #45744GixParticipantThe A6024 off Woodhead (A628) towards Holmefirth was a real treat. Some excellent tarmac, nice sharp bends, breathtaking views, though the road was a little bumpy in places….and the A635 over Saddleworth Moor…..breathtaking. Some amazing views, some lovely bends, but its definetly one for the summer….It was freezing up there! But the views…amazing, and come the summer…..you wont drag me away from them Northern roads! Its a shame neither of us had a camera!
