For a variety of reasons I had not been able to get out on a bike for a few weeks, so it felt disproportionately good to get out for a bit recently, albeit on my elderly 550 Kwak. It was just a local meander about, but it was lovely late summer’s afternoon with a soft, mellow sun gently warming my back. In the end I wound up covering nearly 40 miles around the lovely lanes of Worcestershire that I count myself lucky to live among. Oddly at one point as I came into Stourport-on-Severn I even got entangled in large charity ride out somehow and as it made its way through the town the streets were lined with people cheering us. I know it’s a while since I have been out, but it’s not THAT big a deal! This surreal moment soon passed and I meandered home, coaxing the 550 along in lower echelons of its rev range. So I pulled up back at home a chilled and happy man, I tell you what, bikes sure are better at reducing stress than yoga or meditation that’s for sure!
It was one of those days when you just run into odd stuff…

It does a bit, I have seen a Yamaha 535 on barge during a TV show about the waterways, but he actually sacrificed accommodation space for it

That’s quite a comment from somebody more used to Submarines!
October 8, 2018 at 12:35 am #70176HippoDronesParticipanthaha, a submarine is surprisingly responsive and maneuverable!
