Was doing a job today with the towed array on one of our hunter-killer subs out in the loch. First visit we left at around 5am so I was a lil tired but the sea breeze soon woke me up.
Later in the day we had to remove the bits we had put on earlier and had to get there quick due to time constraints. Our transport of choice was a R.I.B. powered by twin 200bhp outboards capable of over 50knts!
Blimy that thing was quick! Was such a rush straddling the seat motorbike style with our feet in hooks on the deck and a grab handle in front to hold on to. We literally took off when crossing other boats wake, unfortunately the lochs were dead calm other than that, I hope I get to go out again on it when its a bit rougher, these boats are capable of going out upto a force 7 storm apparantly!

Got any pics?
