    Long time friend Stu has recently been looking to replace his Triumph XC800. He popped around to show me this KTM1190 demo bike he had been trying out for a couple of hours. He was oddly subdued about it, I was surprised as everybody seems to rave about them.

    I thought he would love the 1190, be he was pretty unmoved by the bright orange Austrian rocket ship

    I sat on it, it is way too tall in seat height for a stumpy like me!

    I test rode the SuperDuke, again too tall for me but I didn’t take to the bikes big twin motor, great bike in the right hands but not for me.

    The GS1200 got the nod in the end, gets it in a couple of weeks I think
