Well I’ve been to a few of these evening meets recently without writing a report, but this sunny Wednesday on the banks of the River Severn was a biggy, so here are a couple of photos:
Neighbour Jed and co-Triumph-tester John in front of the Red Lion
On the banks of the River Severn
Met a retired colleague Graham who has returned to a bike he pretty much started on: a pristine Le Mans 850
Gridlock……
Nice MV Augusta
Brother Jonney – is this the model you’re riding in New Zealand?
Big rubber….
Nice (if smokey) Tiger 90
My favourite bike (out of the many hundreds there): a little Cotton. Restored but not to concours – just cleaned rather than re-chromed…
The Cotton started first kick – watched by John and old mates Mike & Phil
The jam sandwich got caught up in the gridlock so decided to tarry awhile…
Riding home into the sunset…..These meets are good fun….

That little Cotton is lovely

It was packed – several hundred took part….
Are you up for the next one on Wednesday? – the Fleece at Bretforton (my old stomping ground when I had hair…). Assuming it’s not lashing down….August 17, 2015 at 8:11 pm #68739RadarModeratorLooks like it was packed!
