Katana and Toggs joined me for the brief but enjoyable ride over to check out the breakfast meeting over at the Shelsley Walsh hillclimb track this morning.
This is really a car meet rather than a bike one, but despite the roar of Ferrari V8's, the wuffle of Focus RS waste gates and the howl of many a Porker flat 6 we made a pretty spectacular entrance…Toggs on his GT550 with a whailing 3 into one 'spanny' fitted, Kat on his Blade with a howling stubby and my Duke with it's bellowing twin Termi's! Excellent!
Some beautiful vehicles on show, sun on our backs and quiet, twisty roads there and back..perfect!
Team noise forming up, much to the delight of my neigbours
It is principally a car meet
KTM, this kind of straddles the divide between cars and bikes
Toggs and Kat are happy, a light salad has just been ordered!
They tried to hide us away
Thanks to my fellow orchestra members Katana and Toggs, we had the whole range covered…soprano, tenor and base!
