    Just bought myself this Kawasaki ZR550 to replace the 125 on local riding

    Not a bad looking bus, if you ignore the dent in the tank!

    I have not owned a Kawasaki since 1986 when I sold my KH250. Revered as a classic now, I hated that bike! Lets hope the ZR does better!

    Only 35 miles so far, but the early signs are promising. The old girl does need a good clean though!

    Nice one. They are really good bikes and that engine has some heritage, pretty bulletproof.

    Had a few Kwaks (Z750, GPZ750, Z1100, GPZ900R, ZX9R) and they have all been ultra-reliable. I think the worst I ever had to do was change the ignition coils on the Z750.

    I bet that tank dent tells a story!

    I think it’ll be a really good bike to replace the 125, and so much more versatile! Looks pretty good in the flesh
