I checked on the DVLA website to see how many of bikes are still out there
Of my main bikes there has been a good survival rate, only 3 are no longer taxed. They might still survive too, tucked away in a shed, garage or barn somewhere
CB100N – last taxed in October 1993…RIP old friend
RD250LC – no longer with us, again last taxed in October 1993
RD350 YPVS – still out there!!
GS550 – Last taxed in August 1998
Vf1000 – still going and out there
RD350F2 – Still taxed
FZ750 – still out there
YZF600 – I still own this one!!
XJR1300 – still out there and I want it back!
FZ1S – In the dealers I got the Duke from, buy it, a fantastic bikeThat is a good survival rate!!
I also know that both of my old Honda CB250RS survive as does my old FZ600. Neither of my old CB250N Superdreams are still taxed, one was last on the road in April 93, but the other one did hang on until 2009 at which point it was 28 years old!
