Its been way too long since I took the ZX636R for a proper spin, my riding showed it too as I found myself braking too soon, changing my line mid corner and wobbling at junctions a bit. But it was cracking to get out on the 6 and had a good lil hoon. Went over to Bury Hill for lunch and had a natter with a couple of chaps before heading over to Box Hill where I bumped into Gregg and Tom from The 125hundreds
They were heading on to the Ace Cafe in London but my ankle was a lil sore and had a few bits to do once I’d gotten home so we went our separate ways.
The tarmac was almost as sticky as my tyres and Kevin performed fantastically. I so love summer riding, but def need to get my hand back into quick road riding again. Hopefully will have plenty of chances to get some practice in with working shifts

Ses joined me on his new GS1200. We went down to Evesham to Katanas…a decent 35 mile run on some good roads that pass through some pretty bits oof Worcestershire. We checked out his new ‘LKat-Cave’ when we got there and it is most impressive. He joined for the run backj up to Kidderminster on his trusty 95 Blade. We took in the 1940’s weekend at the Severn Valley Raiway…we got to see a column of jeeps and trucks escorted by bikes and complete with a saluting Monte lookalike roll out of the station frontage. From their we headed up to the bikers cafe we took you to on the outskirts of Bridgenorth. I was riding Ses’s BMW by now, he was on Kats Blade while Kat was on my Thundercat…all clear now??
Good bacon butty and a bit of natter followed. Fair few bikes out. Good to out and about as you say!
A bit lady I got the 125 out and headed out with Zippy on her moped for a local run to take in some local poppy feilds that are pretty spectacular. All in a good biking day!July 8, 2013 at 4:22 am #66385HippoDronesParticipantsounds the perfect day mate. How did you find Ses’ BMW?

That makes a huge difference doesn’t it? Feels like you can’t lean over too far.
(Disclaimer – You CAN lean over too far)
